Oh heeey! 👋🏻 This is me, you know, just doing my usual- posing barefoot in a long flowy gown on a random patio looking as demure as I possibly can. 🤣 Ya’ll, five minutes later my hair totally fell and it started to rain and we laughed all the way to the car! Thank you to my photog besties ♡ @coreyjohnsonphotography ♡ for capturing this and ♡ @lindseyrogers_photography ♡ for letting me borrow this beautiful dress from her studio wardrobe. Architecture was my first love. (Fun fact- My love of photography grew by shooting projects for the architecture firm I worked for after college.) The lines, the symmetry, the puzzle of a floor plan, the sketches that come to life...art that has a function. In my mind it all makes sense. I’ve loved it since I was a child drawing house plans while sitting in the church pew (pk here). As I walked along the streets of Rosemary Beach with the canopy of trees surrounding me, my heart lit up like the gas lanterns hanging from stucco walls…I realized how long it had been since I took the time to capture the beauty of stillness and space (too long, ya’ll).
